The last few weeks have been even more depressing watching other houses (we have been watching on the homeone forum ) started around the same time as ours and they have reached lock up. Good for them.
Bricking started on 9 January 2009. At the end of 6 weeks all we had completed was the garage bricking. But the target to finish bricking the whole house was 6-9 weeks .
Whole of Feb and 3 weeks of March - we saw plumbing and gas connection done but no bricking.
Finally on a positive note :- now things are happening again with a bang. Hope it continues.
Once they started the brick work last Wednesday it has been going good. Downstairs, back and the 2 side are complete but for the area around the windows.
In the front there has been a tiny bit of bricking. Starting to look real nice. We are so much happier with these brickies - Not so shoddy as the previous one - seem more organised, neat and fast. In 4 working days they have done most of the downstairs bricking . So guess something good came out of the waiting.
