We are wired ........

Worked a couple of weekends ago and wired for:-

Did a lot of future proofing the house -
Of course we cannot afford to buy all of the stuff for this now - Who can predict maybe we will win a tattslotto - We can dream cant we

What has the house been wired for:-

• 7.1 channel for the home theater

• Wired for on wall TV and ceiling projector

• TV outlets to about 4 points (we have only 1 TV ON in the house policy but we have 4 outlets - Wonder for what - again resale and future proofing). Antenna is to be mounted later inside in the roof

• Added provision in bulkhead for projector screen (hidden normally)

• Gigabit LAN wired to study and living areas as well as bedrooms

• Security System - Wired and wireless to all access points into the house

• Piped Music to living raes and alfresco as well

• Wired for Video doorbell and electronic front door lock - to be added later

• Short and sweet we installed over 250metres of "CAT6" cable for data, 150 metres of "figure 8 cable " for music and 150 metres of "6core cable" for security

We have converted the under stairs area as a central data and security control room

We are planning to slowly to make it a smart home using X10 modules for lighting and appliance controls
Couple of weeks ago Bunnings had a X10 sale and some of the lighting modules were reduced by 50%. Bought 3 of them for light controls. Need to do this after we move in and over the years. mmmm home and buyin never stops does it
