Black Saturday - A day nobody is going to forget

For those of u overseas ( We know a lot of you are aware already because of all the emails) but a quick idea for those of u who might have not heard
This last few weeks has seen the worst fires in the history of Victoria
The last know last count of people killed is 189 - God knows how many injured and over 1800 homes destroyed
In some cases it is entire towns have been burnt off the face of the map
SHOCKING - This has been the highest number of people killed in a peacetime event in Australia
No words can describe the enormity and destruction of these fires
The worst part of this was started by arsonist.
The drought, high temperature sometimes greater than 45 degrees and winds just fanned the fire to an uncontrollable blaze

In the worst of times we find the best in people
It is amazing - the spirit of all the people who have been affected
The strength the endurance determination makes us feel so small
Not to mention the thousands of fire fighters and the volunteers working so much to get the fire under control and help the thousands. Our respects to each one of them
It has not stopped - New fires are still starting - We are proud to be part of such a Resilient Giving community

Here is snap of where the fires have been

Have uploaded a few images from all the news sites to give an idea of how savage it was
